2014 R 1200 RT-LC Recall Updates

The long anticipated wait is nearly over for owners of the new R 1200 RT-LC, who's bikes were pulled off the road after "stop-ride" order was issued by BMW in early June. This recall happened after BMW announced that the piston rod in the rear shock absorber manufactured by their Belgian supplier, Tenneco Automotive, could break without warning. The latest fix for RT's with dynamic ESA should start arriving in dealers hands this week of August 18th. I bet these guys can't wait to get on the road again to enjoy the last bit of summer.
